The main South Atlantic’s nursery for Humpback whales (Megaptera novaeangliae) is in Bahia. Between July and October, thousands of them leave the cold waters of the Antarctic Ocean and approach the brazilian coast to breed, making it possible to witness a spectacular experience.
The speedboat travels away from the coast to the observation area, and the experience follows the whale watching regulations, in accordance with IBAMA Ordinance 117/1196.
