The Discovery Coast is one of the best preserved areas of Atlantic Rainforest in Brazil and a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. In this unique hidden place of our country, the RPPN Rio do Brasil preserves 975 hectares of untouched forest, and connects tourists and residents of the region's communities to its riches through a number of experiences.
DETAILS
- KAYAKING ON THE RIO DO BRASIL: you will be accompanied by a specialized guide throughout the journey, and the route follows the river's gentle current without requiring too much effort;
- TRAILS: there are four options (Araponga, Catitu, Quati and Bugio) which differ in length (short, medium or long), but are similar in terms of the beauty of the local biodiversity;
- BIRDWATCHING: accompanied by an expert and with binoculars in hand, walking through the forest can provide rare encounters;
- CHILDREN'S ROUTE: a sensory tour with planting, cultivation and fun;
- PICNIC: a basket of fresh, local and native foods, including Unconventional Food Plants, grown in Rio do Brasil itself.
