It'll take yout only a few steps to cross the garden of Pousada Tutabel and put your feet in the sand of Itapororoca Beach, certainly one of the most beautiful and preserved beaches of Trancoso.
‘Itapororoca’ comes from the Tupi-Guarani language and translates as: Ita= stone and Pororoca= meeting of the waters. At low tide, the coral reefs form natural pools and the waters are very calm, perfect for a swim. At high tide, the sea is perfect for surfing.
Before and after a swim, you might want to try stand up paddle, kayaking, snorkeling, surfing and bodyboarding, beach tennis and fat bike rides.
